Allay Menstrual Pain Therapy Review & Giveaway

I consider myself to be a "kinda crunchy" person. I'm not actually opposed traditional medicine but I do try to avoid putting any medication, even over-the-counter products, into my body whenever I can help it. So even though I experience painful menstrual cramping every month (and used to routinely pop ibuprofen without a second thought), now I'd rather tough it out than take a pain reliever.  Needless to say, I was thrilled when I learned about the Allay device as an alternative to drugs.

So you're probably wondering, what exactly is the Allay device and how does it work?  The Allay site explains:

Allay is a breakthrough delivery mechanism for pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (PEMF), a long established, proven medical therapy, currently in widespread use by health care professionals worldwide. PEMF therapy has been shown in clinical studies to stop the release of inflammatory mediators and accelerate the body’s natural healing process. It induces a mild electrical current into the cells at a frequency which recharges the cell, stops the release of pain and inflammatory mediators, increases blood flow, and re-establishes normal cell-cell communication. As a result, your body can begin to heal faster, and you experience less pain and swelling.

Allay is:
* Drug-free
* 24/7 Constant Relief
* Treats Pain and Swelling at the Source
* Sensation and Heat Free

I was given the opportunity to try this product recently and it really worked!  Within 30 minutes of putting the Allay device on, my cramps subsided almost completely.  And I just loved that it was not a drug going into my body, but simply electromagnetic energy that actually treats the problem rather than masking it.  I also really liked the fact that Allay provided continuous relief - I kept it on all night while I slept and when I woke up, I felt great!  The only issue I had with it was that it wasn't entirely discreet with what I was wearing (low-rise jeans) because the device kind of stuck out over my waistband and the outline was visible through my shirt, but this problem could easily be solved by wearing a looser shirt or a higher waist.

The device that I tried was the single-cycle version.  It stays on continuously for 5-7 days and then can no longer be used.  The Allay is also available as a 10-cycle device that can be turned on and off.  This is the economical choice as the cost per cycle ends up much lower compared to the single-cycle version.  You can purchase Ally online from Allay.com.

  2. I have endometriosis, which makes periods miserable. Beyond the loopy drugs the doctors offer, I've found little relief and end up having to stay home for 2-3 days without relief. I've tried everything, and I'd love to have the opportunity to try something new

  9. -I would like to try Allay because I suffer from horribly painful periods. I have Endometriosis and Poly Cystic Ovarian Diseaase. It causes incredibly painful periods. There are times where I just want to curl up and die -- I can't function. I have to live on a heating pad and take pain medicine to make them just a little tolerable. I would love to have a product that could help with my pain and be medicine-free. I would like to not have to take medication.

    A BIG THANK YOU to You and Allay for offering this WONDERFUL Giveaway! :)

  12. I would love to try this. I have such bad cramps that I've been taking 4 advil (not generic because it doesn't work as well) to get rid of them just so I can go to work! It bothers me to take that much medicine. I would love to have something I can just put on and forget about.

  14. I really want to win this because I am already on a ton (and I do mean handfuls!) of pills a day including very strong opiates for severe chronic pain in my spine. So taking more meds isn't an option, and heating pads are great but get way too hot in the summer!

  15. "The longer you wear Allay continuously, the longer your cells can keep communicating and working to treat your pain, swelling, and discomfort at the source." This is why I would really love to have Allay.
