Buitoni Frozen Meal Review & Giveaway



You may remember that last month I told you about the yummy refrigerated Buitoni Riserva Ravioli I enjoyed.  This month I tried out a frozen Buitoni Complete Meal for Two, Chicken & Mushroom Ravioli with Marsala Wine Sauce.  It was outstanding!  And not only did it taste delicious but it was a snap to prepare.  I simply dropped the frozen sauce packet into a pot of water, brought it to a boil, and then added the frozen ravioli for 5 minutes.  It was such a quick and easy dinner served with garlic bread and salad but it tasted like something that should have required a lot of effort!  (Oh and cleaning up was easy too since I only used one pot!)  The ravioli was stuffed with oven roasted chicken, fresh-roasted Portobello mushrooms, and four cheeses - Ricotta, Fontina, aged Parmesan, and aged Provolone.  The Marsala wine sauce was the perfect finish and the flavor blended with the ravioli beautifully. At only about $8 a box at Walmart, this is a treat that I can't make from scratch for less (not to mention the time that would be involved!).
