Day 6: Kiss My Face Holiday Peace Collection Review & Giveaway

Kiss My Face has released a new Holiday Peace Collection with ten percent of the profits from this line benefiting the Seeds of Peace, an organization that brings together teens from countries of conflict.  The Holiday Peace Collection features soy wax candles, natural castile foaming hand soap, and natural all purpose castile soap in four great scents: Grassy Mint, Lemongrass Clary Sage, Pomegranate Acai, and Lavender Mandarin. 

If you're wondering what "castile" soap is (that was my husband's first question)... it is a soap formula that originated in the Castile region of France 500 years ago.  This soap contains no artificial fragrances and is paraben, SLS, phthalate, and gluten free.  It is also biodegradable and environmentally safe.  I tried the all purpose castile soap in Pomegranate Acai, which was definitely my favorite scent.  It smells so yummy that I wanted to eat it, but I refrained! :) I also tried the Lemongrass Clary Sage castile foaming hand soap and didn't like it as well as the Pomgranate Acai but my husband really enjoyed it and thought the scent reminded him of green tea. 

The Holiday Peace soy candles are environmentally safe with an unbleached wick and no petroleum-based wax. Before I lit the Grassy Mint candle, I wondered if it would just make the room smell like toothpaste... but it actually smells really nice!  It gives the room a really pleasant, fresh scent without being too overpowering.
