JAWS (Just Add Water System) Cleaners Review & Giveaway

JAWS, the Just Add Water System, is a line of "greener than green" cleaners that just hit the market late last year.  This effective system reduces plastic in landfills, conserves resources and saves you cash. How does it work?  The bottles are sold empty with cylindrical cleaning cartridges.  Fill the bottle with your own tap water and then insert a cartridge containing the cleaning solution, shake it a little, and the cleaner is ready to use!  Not only is it eco-friendly, but it is also economical since when you run out, you just need to buy the refill cartridges rather than an entire bottle of cleaner every time.  It's also a space-saver because with an extra cartridge you have the equivalent of an extra bottle on hand without actually having another bottle taking up space in the cupboard.

Filling the bottles myself was extremely simple since all I had to do was fill them with water from my kitchen sink faucet and then add the cartridge.  I love the cartridge system because it eliminates the hassle of having to pour from one bottle into another - it was so easy and mess-free to just drop the cartridge in.  

The cleaner that I was most interested in trying out was the Glass & Hard Surface cleaner.  I always use the name-brand glass cleaner (you know the one I mean!) because I like how well it performs, so I wondered how well the JAWS glass cleaner would measure up.  Well I was not disappointed!  I used it on both of my bathroom mirrors and now they are streak-free and shiny! The no-streak Glass & Hard Surface cleaner is safe to use on any surface that is not harmed by water and is ammonia-free and alcohol-free.

JAWS has three other formulas in addition to the Glass & Hard Surface one.  The Multi-Purpose Cleaner/Degreaser can be used to clean up ink, grease, gunk, grime, and more.  I used it to clean up my stove and it cut through all that cooking grime (and I'll confess that it had been awhile since I had last cleaned the stove!).

The Bathroom Cleaner/Deodorizer is a fast acting cleaner that dissolves and emulsifies slimy stuff.  It is safe to use on ceramic tile, grout, porcelain tile, showers doors, tubs, toilets, and sinks.

The Disinfectant Cleaner Degreaser is guaranteed to kill 99.9% of germs. It cleans and disinfects any hard non-porous surface area where viruses and bacteria live.

The Just Add Water System is available from JAWS online and from select retailers, including some Bed, Bath, & Beyond locations.  Unfortunately the Evansville location does not carry it at this time, but I'm hoping that as JAWS increases in popularity it will become available in our area!  Until then, definitely check it out on the JAWS website.
