I was really excited today to score 6 cans of Pillsbury "Simply..." Biscuits for FREE plus $0.50 overage!! Thanks to Clippin' With Carie for bringing this deal to my attention!
To work this deal, buy 6 participating General Mills products and receive a $3 Catalina coupon good toward your next visit (this promotion is good through Sunday, 10/10). I chose "Simply..." biscuits because it was the best deal with the coupons I had (other participating General Mills products can be found on the last page of the Schnucks ad). But wait it gets even better... this turned into a pay it forward too! For buying 6 participating products, General Mills will donate $2 to a local Susan G. Komen for the Cure, up to a maximum of $7,800!
My transaction looked like this:
6 Pillsbury Simply Buttermilk Biscuits @ $1.25 each = $7.50
- (4) $1/1 Simply Biscuits coupons from Better at Home booklet
- (2) $0.50/1 Simply Biscuits printable coupons from Coupons.com and Pillsbury.com
Total paid: $2.50
Received: $3 off coupon good for next purchase
Out of pocket expense will be FREE + $0.50 moneymaker!
If you don't have any Better at Home booklets, you can still do this deal with lesser value coupons. The savings isn't quite as much, but is still fantastic. For example here is a deal scenario that you can do with just printable coupons:
Buy 6 Simply Biscuits
Use (6) $0.50/1 Simply Biscuits printable coupons from Coupons.com, SmartSource.com (should be able to print twice), Pillsbury.com (should be able to print twice), and CoolSavings.com
Pay $4.50, get $3 off coupon
All 6 cans for just $0.25 each!
