Day 1: Carmex Skin Care Review & Prize Pack Giveaway

For nearly 75 years people have come to love the healing power of Carmex lip balms.  You may recall my Carmex lip balm review a few months ago... I am actually wearing my Carmex Lime Twist balm right now and loving how moisturizing it feels!   And with the cold weather now fully upon us, many people are turning to lotions to moisturize their skin.  Carmex has released a new line of Skin Care to help heal, soothe, and moisturize dry skin.

Carmex sent me their new Healing Cream and Healing Lotion to try out.  I am actually not much of a lotion person - even during the winter, I don't usually need it - but my husband's frequent handwashing (he works in healthcare) results in chronic dry, cracked skin.  So he was a great candidate to test out the new Carmex Skin Care!  He told me that he felt an instant difference after applying it; his skin felt smoother and moisturized.  And even though my skin isn't dry, I still enjoyed the soothing feel of both the cream and lotion.  We both preferred the Healing Lotion over the Healing Cream, as the lotion absorbed more quickly.   The lotion and the cream have a very light, pleasant scent that is not overpowering and is appropriate for either gender.
