A reader, Kendra, asked me to pass this info on about the Kick It Pickett Cruise In & Barbeque taking place this Saturday, October 15th, from 3pm - 6pm at the AMC Stadium 16. This event will benefit 19-year-old Donnie Pickett who was diagnosed with Leukemia in July. Donnie is a member of Ironworkers Local 103 and is a loving father and fiance. At the Cruise In & Barbeque there will be a silent auction and burgers, hot dogs, and drinks available to purchase. What a great way to pay it forward to a member of our community!
