Roary the Racing Car DVD Review & Giveaway

Buckle up for fast-action fun!   Sprout's popular preschool show Roary the Racing Car has now debuted on DVD featuring never-before-seen on TV episodes!  Roary the Racing Car is narrated by Indy and NASCAR racer Sam Hornish Jr. and ranks in the top 10 requested programs on Sprout.  Roary toys are also available exclusively at Toys R Us.

We don't get the Sprout channel so are not able to watch Roary regularly, but my kids had already seen a few episodes prior to watching the new Roary the Racing Car DVD.  Now that they're seen this they are definitely hooked!  Roary the Racing Car features excellently done claymation and a variety of upbeat characters.  Peter, who is 3.5 years old, has a cute little quirk - he keeps saying "Racy the Racing Car" instead of "Roary the Racing Car" and it doesn't matter how many times I correct him, he just keeps asking to watch "Racy"!  Roary (or Racy!) is sure to be a hit with small children, especially little car enthusiasts!

The movie's back cover description reads:  Start your engines for fun and excitement with Roary The Racing Car and his racetrack buddies, Tin Top, Zizzy, Dragga, and mischievous Maxi, as they zoom into exciting high-speed adventures. The racetrack becomes a pit stop of great times as everyone goes the extra mile for Marsha's birthday party, Big Chris becomes a babysitter, and Rusty is on a roll...without wheels! Put your pedal to the metal and buckle up for big-time fun from Start to Finish!
