Tassimo T20 Single Serve Coffee Brewer Review & Giveaway

We go through a lot of coffee in our house. Although I don't drink a whole lot of it, I do enjoy it on occasion and my husband drinks coffee pretty much every day and is very particular about how it tastes.  We were both excited to try out the new Tassimo T20 Coffee Brewer by Bosch and were not disappointed.

The Tassimo brewer takes up about as much space on the counter as a blender and is very versatile for a coffee, tea, or hot chocolate drinker.  It has a large water reservoir so you don't have to add water every time you use the machine and it can quickly and easily brew several different types of drinks with just the push of a button.  This has proven to be especially helpful on some mornings when Eddie is rushing to get out the door and doesn't have a lot of time to get out a filter, measure out coffee, and fill a water tank to brew coffee in our conventional coffeemaker.  The Tassimo brewer literally takes 60 seconds from start to finish.  You simply insert a t-disc of your desired beverage and press a button.  The machine reads the barcode on the disc and knows how to perfectly brew it whether it's a traditional cup of coffee, a cappuccino, an espresso, tea, or hot chocolate.  Another time saver is that clean-up is easy since the drink is brewed directly into your mug so that is the only thing that you need to wash.  The machine itself contains no parts that need to be cleaned after each use!

At first glance the Tassimo discs may seem expensive, but when you compare the cost of the Starbucks T-discs to the cost of a comparable cup of Starbucks coffee it’s not only a money saver, but it’s much quicker and you have the added convenience of fixing your cup of coffee the way you like it in the comfort of your own home.  Since I like my cappuccino flavored and sweet,  I simply add some sugar and a few squirts of chocolate syrup to an empty mug and then brew the cappuccino over it...and voila, I have a tasty drink!
