Music Review: Norah Jones' ...Featuring

I was recently given the opportunity to review the new Norah Jones album ...Featuring.  Eddie, the hubby, has been a big fan of Norah since her first album Come Away With Me debuted in 2002 so he was excited to be able to help me review her newest release.

...Featuring is a collection of all the compilations that Norah has done throughout her career and includes her most recent song, "Little Lou, Prophet Jack, Ugly John" (with Belle & Sebastian).  This album definitely highlights Norah's ability to work with a wide variety of artists and array of musical styles.  On this CD you are guaranteed to find songs that will you love, although because of its diversity you may not appreciate every single track. Our personal favorites include "Love Me," "Virginia Moon" (with the Foo Fighters), and "Baby It's Cold Outside" (with Willie Nelson).  I would recommend this CD to any Norah Jones fan as it showcases some of her best and most versatile work yet.

“A lot of the people on this record are people I've worshiped since I was a kid, and some of them are younger and more my contemporaries,” says Norah Jones. “Even though the musicians are so varied, the vibe of the songs makes sense when we put them all together.”

...Featuring is available from Amazon for just $8.99 (53% off retail price)!  You can learn more about Norah Jones and her music by visiting her website.

We received a complimentary copy of ...Featuring from One2One Network. We were not otherwise compensated but for our participation were entered into a giftcard drawing. All views expressed are our honest opinions.
