I found this recipe a few years ago on the Pillsbury website and have made it several times since. It makes a yummy dessert or indulgent breakfast dish. To cut down the cost, the nuts can be omitted and the rolls still taste delicious!

Combine powdered sugar, cream cheese, liqueur/coffeee and vanilla in a small bowl and blend well. Stir in macadamia nuts (optional). Separate crescents into 8 triangles and spoon one heaping tablespoon of cream cheese mixture onto shortest side of each triangle. Loosely roll up, starting at shortest side and rolling to opposite end. Place, point side down, onto a lightly greased cookie sheet and curve into a crescent shape. Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, melt the chocolate chips and shortening/oil in a small saucepan over low heat and stir until smooth. (If using chocolate syrup, skip the saucepan step.) Drizzle chocolate over warm rolls. Serve warm or refrigerate and serve cold.
