Harrison College Now Offering Working Moms Scholarship



Harrison College recently wrote to me about a new scholarship and asked to share the details with My Evansville Mommy readers:

Harrison College is now accepting applications for our Working Moms Scholarship.

If you are a Mom is who working or re-entering the workforce and has at least one child under the age of 18 living in the home, you are eligible to apply for the Working Moms Scholarship.

Recipients will receive $2,500 per year for two or four years, depending on the student's degree program. One scholarship will be awarded annually to a new student enrolling in the school's online campus, and one to a new student studying at one of the college's 13 campuses located across Indiana and in Columbus, Ohio. To qualify, students must maintain at least a 3.0 GPA and be in good standing with the college.

Interested students will submit an application, a 500-word essay describing their reasons for pursuing a college degree, and recommendations from a workplace peer and a family member. The award will be presented annually in July for use beginning in the September Quarter. Deadline for applications will be May 30.
