It seems like most kids love forts and my son Peter (age 3) is no exception. His attempts to make a fort include covering the top of the baby's pack-n-play with a blanket or pulling all the cushions off both couches and standing them upright arranged a circle - which is cute, but I'd rather not have him playing with my furniture! Peter was thrilled with his fort and had a lot of fun playing in it. However, even though the product is designed for ages 3-7, we found that he was too young to actually assemble the fort himself. And the pieces weren't durable enough to withstand his energy - one piece snapped in half - so this is probably a toy that would be better for an older child.
