Carmex Skin Care Review & Giveaway

Carmex is best known for their fabulous line of moisturizing lip balms.  I keep a stick of Carmex flavored balm next to my bed to keep my lips smooth and moisturized, and lately I've also been keeping a tube of Carmex lotion for my hands.   I was so excited for another opportunity to review the Carmex skin care line which features Healing Cream and Hydrating Lotion.   The Healing Cream mimics skin's natural lipid layer to maximize healing while the Hydrating Lotion's vitamin E and concentrated aloe vera to sooth skin.

Carmex sent me both their Healing Cream and Hydrating Lotion to try out.   I do not normally need to use much lotion, but this winter has been brutal on my skin!  My hands especially have suffered so I am becoming addicted to lotion.  My husband, who works in healthcare and frequently washes his hands, was already addicted and a huge fan of the Carmex skin care line.  I have to admit I got a little bit possessive when I noticed how much of my Carmex hydrating lotion he was using. :)  We both prefer the Hydrating Lotion over the Healing Cream, as the lotion absorbs more quickly.  However the cream is a great choice for super dry hands that need an extra dose of moisture.   Both the lotion and the cream have a very light, pleasant scent that is not overpowering and is appropriate for either gender.   You can find the Carmex Skin Care line at CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart.
