Carmex Lime Twist & Vanilla Click Sticks Review & Prize Pack Giveaway

I have been a fan of flavored lip balms ever since I was a little girl, an obsession that I have carried with me into adulthood as well!   But you may not tend to think of Carmex as being flavored because of the popularity of their original, plain lip balm.  With their new click stick lip balms you get the soothing, healing, and protection of the original balm along with some great flavor!

Carmex sent me the Lime Twist and Vanilla click stick lip balms and I really enjoyed both.  The vanilla was my favorite flavor - I always have been drawn to vanilla flavored balms - and it tastes super good.  These balms contain 15 SPF sunscreen and feel smooth and ultra moisturizing without feeling waxy.  Plus the lip balm contains a little menthol which gives my lips a little tingle when I apply it.  Love that!

I tend to need to use lip balm much more frequently during the colder months, so I have not been carrying any lip balm in my purse recently.  Well just the other day I was visiting Boston and spent all day walking around the city, going in and out of stores, and riding the train.  I had no idea that being in a big, dusty city would be painful but by evening, my lips felt raw!  I was kicking myself for not having any Carmex with me and I spent the entire drive home with my lips burning up.  As soon as I got home I liberally applied some of the vanilla balm and within minutes my lips were feeling so much better.   And in the morning I woke up with my lips feeling almost 100% normal!

Along with the Vanilla and Lime Twist click sticks, Carmex sent me a great foldable picnic blanket.  It velcros closed and has a zippered compartment in the front flap... perfect for keeping some Carmex lip balm handy!   I also received a tube of the Moisture Plus Ultra Hydrating Lip Balm which glides on easily with a slant tip and can be used under or over lipstick.  The one I tried is a clear, satin gloss but it also comes in some sheer colors as well.
