I just found out that Crossroads Christian Church in Newburgh is hosting a food and supplies collection for Joplin Tornado Relief. What a great chance to pay it forward! You can stop by on Sunday, June 5, between 8 AM and 3 PM by the gymnasium entrances. You can find more details on the CCC website.
They ARE accepting:
* Baby formula and diapers
* Non-perishable food items
* Powdered drink mixes
* Coffee and Tea
* Flashlights and batteries
* Laundry detergent and dish soap
* Personal hygiene items and toilet paper
* Work Gloves
* Pet Supplies
They ARE NOT accepting:
* Water
* Clothing of any kind
* Pillows, bedding and towels
* Toys
They are also in need of boxes, so if you can box your donation as well as bring any extra boxes you might have, that would be great.
If you're unable to make it out tomorrow but still want to help, the American Red Cross is accepting cash donations online.
